I’ve recently become interested in card designs and letterpress. I love this letterpress invitation by Studio on Fire. What got my attention was the use of simple lines as a design element, something I often use in my MYE pieces.
Hello museum enthusiasts. This weekend is the first weekend of the month, which means FREE Galleries and Museums in Santa Ana!
Saturday { 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm } there are open galleries and music at the Artist’s Village in downtown Santa Ana.
Sunday { 10:00 am to 4:00 pm } is Target Free First Sunday – The Bowers Museum, and Kidseum will have free admission thanks to the Target Corporation.
Both places are a great experience. I really love the Bowers museum, they have awesome cultural exhibitions and they have recently expanded!
This last Museum isnt free this weekend. But at $5 adult admission, I think you can almost call it Free. I’ve been to this museum as a kid, and from what I remember it was pretty cool ; the entire house is preserved from the Victorian Age.
The Heritage Museum is only open Friday { 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. } and Sunday { 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. } Definitely something to add to you’re to do list if you’re near Santa Ana =)
Ive been taking a business writing night class and tonight was our final presentation. We had to write a business proposal and make a powerpoint presentation. Of course I volunteered to design the powerpoint and logos and write the marketing strategy portion =) We decided that our products would be kid’s clothing for ages 5 and under, made with a mixture of organic cotton and hemp. Here are the logos I whipped out this past weekend for the powerpoint ( the 1st is for our independent line and the second is for our company brand) :
I was blown away by Larrissa Rehder’s work. She’s Anthony’s friend’s gf. I haven’t yet met her, but we were talking about her business, and he showed me her website. I thought her work was innovative, and very inspiring!
